SET

SET: 1. Secure Electronic Transaction. A system for ensuring the security of electronic transactions (such as financial or credit card transactions) across the internet.; 2. To apply a value. Some programming languages have an explicit "SET" instruction that applies a value to an object or variable.; 3. A group of similar things, as in for example a "set of golf clubs" or a "dinner set".
