NDA

NDA
Non Disclosure Agreement. An agreement between two or more parties not to pass any shared information on to a third party (or any party not covered by the NDA). It is an agreement to keep confidential information confidential to the parties involved. NDAs are normally formal signed agreements and as such are legally binding.

NDAs are typically used where two companies need to work together, sharing confidential information mitigating any risk of that information being passed on to third parties. NDAs typically cover a specific period of time or a specific business venture.
