- Text Control Demo file. The .txm file extension is used by the
demonstration programs for TX Text Control, a drop in control which
application developers can use in their own applications to provide word
processing capabilities. The TX Text Control supports other (more common)
file formats, but some of the example applications use .txm.
TX Text Control can be used to convert .txm files to other more commonly used file types (such as .doc) The .txm file format is proprietary, and the format is not published.
A .txm file is similar to a .tx file, except that the .txm file contains additional header information.
