1. HTML Header Level 1 tag. In HTML this can be written as either <h1> or <H1>, and will have a corresponding closing </h1> (or </H1>) tag. Everything between the opening and closing tags is the header text. In XHTML, which is case sensitive, this is always written in lower case.

A level 1 header is the most prominent header on a web page.

2. First half of a year (or financial year). H2 is then the second half of the year.
