19th April 2008: New version of Web Site Publisher released.
11th February 2008: Command line utility PauseWithTimeout released. This utility is likely to be of use to anyone writing Windows command scripts (i.e. .bat or .cmd script files).
1st February 2008: Network test utility CryPing released to the public. This freeware command line utility extends the capabilities of the traditional ping command to include pinging of ports, web servers as well as other extensions.
8th January 2008: Articles added on how to add a site icon and how to add a page icon to HTML pages.
1st January 2008: Happy New Year to all our visitors.
6th December 2007: New recommendation system introduced, based on an easily recognisable number of stars. This is in addition to comments on parts of the site where one product is recommended over another. The star system is:

Recommended
No stars does not mean that a given product is not recommended, nor does a star rating indicate a particular fitness for purpose. The star rating indicates that the webmaster (or reviewer) favoured those products over others.
9th November 2007: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) tips have been added to the site.; To assist navigation to the most popular parts of the website a new section has been added to the homepage listing some of the most popular parts of the www.cryer.co.uk website.
19th October 2007: Removed a number of the advertisements from the site. The site still carries advertisements, but the total number of advertisements has been cut by at least a third.
9th July 2007: Pilot newsgroup archive closed and the content migrated to http://newsgroups.cryer.info.
14th June 2007: The wife of a good friend of mine has started an on-line presence. Whilst this is totally unrelated to www.cryer.co.uk we wish her well with her venture at www.chriscastleimages.co.uk.
May 2007: Minor changes to site layout. Other work is keeping back development of this site.
