1. Word Processor. Generic abbreviation for any word processor.
2. WordPerfect. Originally a standalone word processor but now an integrated office suite. Available from Corel.
3. Work Package. A defined unit or units of work.
4. Write Protected. Meaning that the device cannot be written to, but can still be read from. Write Protected normally implies that the device is capable of being written to, but is currently locked against writing. For example the term can be applied to floppy disks and flash drives.
