SAR

SAR: Segmentation and Re-assembly. Optional features of the Wireless Transport Protocol (WTP) used to split large WTP messages into a number of smaller datagrams (with resend for failed datagrams), thereby improving the transmission efficiency of downloading large messages to a phone.
