PPL

PPL: 1. Abbreviation for people (PeoPLe).; 2. Pay Per Lead. An affiliate marketing term meaning that a payment (or commission) is paid for each lead, regardless of whether this ends in a sale. Depending on the content a lead may be a contact but is more normally considered to be when someone starts a trial (of a software package).
