NIC

NIC: 1. Network Interface Card. Provides the physical connection between the computer and network. On many modern PCs the NIC is integrated onto the motherboard instead of being a separate card.; 2. National Insurance Contributions. National Insurance is an additional form of income tax that people in the UK are required to pay.
