MD

MD: 1. Make Directory command. On many operating systems (OS), md is a command-line command to make a sub-directory.; 2. Medical Doctor.; 3. Managing Director. The top executive (i.e. controller) of a company. MD is a term used in many English speaking countries, such as in the United Kingdom, but not in the USA where CEO is used.
