FOV

Field Of View, or Field of Vision. The FOV defines what can be seen from any given point. It is normally defined in terms of a horizontal and vertical viewing angle.

SLR cameras have a FOV, which is what can be seen through the viewfinder. 2D and 3D rendering applications are rendering a FOV. Living creatures also have a FOV.
