Duplex
- Duplex
- 1. A communications channel allowing simultaneous data transfer when
both sending and receiving data. cf simplex.
- 2. To print on both sides of a sheet of paper. Also
referred to as double sided printing. Most printers (see simplex)
will only print on one side of a sheet of paper. A duplex printer will
print on both sides - normally by printing on one side and then flipping
the paper over before printing on the other.
