- CLS
- 1. Common Language Specification. The CLS is a set of rules that defines
the minimum core set of .NET constructs that every .NET language
(implementation) must support. A component that confirms to the CLS
should be usable by components written in other .NET languages.
- 2. For text based display systems CLS stands for "Clear
Screen" and was often the name of the command to clear the screen.
