ADSL

ADSL: Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line. ADSL is a technology to transmit digital information at high bandwidths across existing copper phone lines. Download speeds are typically much faster than upload speeds (hence the term "asymmetric"). Also more commonly referred to simply as "broadband".
