AC

AC: 1. Alternating Current. An electrical current that alternates its direction of flow (cf DC). The frequency (or number of cycles per second) is measured in hertz.; 2. Air Conditioning. Air Conditioning units (which cool and de-humidify the air) are often rated in BTUs.; 3. Administrator Account. A user account with full administrative rights. Depending on the context and operating system an administrator account may have full administrative rights over the local pc or over all pcs in a domain. cf LUA.
