Extensible Style-sheet Language Transformation file. Also described as an XSL Transformation file.

A .xslt file contains XSLT, which defines how XML should be transformed and formatted for a web page.

.xslt files are themselves XML files, and as such can be viewed (or edited) using a simple text editor.
