1. PKzip compressed file or archive (i.e. set of compressed files).

Decompress using WinZip or Stuffit on Mac or one of the many other zip utilities available on the net.

Windows explorer on Windows XP and later can unzip .zip files - allowing you to simply browse into a .zip file. Windows explorer cannot handle .zip files which are password protected.

These are compatible with pkzip archives.
