Microsoft OneNote file.

A .one file is a Microsoft OneNote file. Microsoft OneNote is a software package from Microsoft for data and note gathering and sharing.

 OneNote 2003 and OneNote 2007 both used a proprietary file format, and whilst both used a different format both still used the .one file extension. OneNote 2010 uses an XML format file, but still with the .one file extension. Later versions of OneNote can reader files saved using earlier versions.
