If you do not have cd writing software that supports .img
files, many people have reported success by simply renaming the .img
file to .iso.

sometimes denoted with a .aux file extension.

be loaded into a LinkSys device such as a router. Firmware upgrades can
often be downloaded across the web and then uploaded into a device using the
firmware upgrade facility of the device to be upgraded. It is important that
firmware upgrades are only applied to the device for which they are
intended.
