Microsoft Fast Find file.

Microsoft Fast Find generates four files which are normally hidden on the root directory of each drive. These are ffastun.ffa, ffastun.ffl, ffastun.ffo and ffastun0.ffx. If Fast Find is not used then these files can be safely deleted.
