1. Preferences file, for Eagle EDA system.

EAGLE is a layout editor tool for designing printed circuit boards (PCBs). EAGLE is an acronym standing for Easily Applicable Graphics Layout Editor.

According to the cadsoft website (www.cadsoftusa.com/training/faq/):

"EAGLE uses this file [eagle.epf] to store information about current opened editor windows and libraries that are in use. Also specific settings made in the active editor windows or, for example, special settings for the width menu, or the recently used layer for the tracks routed in the layout with the ROUTE command."

2. Encapsulated PostScript file.

Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) files are a format for storing 3D images. This type of file can be created by AutoCAD, and some other professional graphic design applications.

Also known as an Entrust personal profile file. This is used in the process of creating a digital certificate.
