.cxt: Macromedia Director protected cast resource file. These files are not editable and are for distribution with a movie (.dcr) file.
.cxt appears to have been used by older version of Macromedia Director. Modern versions of Adobe Director (Adobe having acquired Macromedia) use .cct files.
