Microsoft Access 2007 database file.

A .accdb file is a Microsoft Access database file. It can be opened and used using Microsoft Access 2007 or later. A .accdb file can also be accessed by many other database aware applications by treating it as a data source (via DAO or ADO).

Earlier versions of Microsoft Access used a different file format, cf .mdb. Microsoft considers .accdb files to be a replacement for the (older) .mdb format.
