How to connect to Hyper-V-Server using Remote Desktop Connection

Remote desktop connection is very easy to use with Hyper-V-Server, just don't expect to see anything more fancy than the same command line interface that you get when logging in locally.

It is very simple to connect to hyper-v-server using remote desktop connection. Simple enable remote desktop using sconfig.

You should be able to use Remote Desktop connection to it from any computer (provided there is a network connection between them).

If your DNS server does not have the name of the hyper-v-server so you can't connect to the hyper-v-server by name then you should still be able to connect to it using its IP address.

If you encounter any problems connecting using remote desktop then view my troubleshooting notes: remote desktop can't connect to hyper-v server.
