Dynamics CRM 2011 Troubleshooting
The user ID associated with the current record is not valid
After pointing Internet Explorer at the dynamics CRM server and entering a username and password the following message is displayed in the browser:
Business Management Error
The user ID associated with the current record is not valid.
With the two options to [Try Again] or [Close].
The user account that you are using exists (in Windows), but there is no corresponding account in the the dynamics CRM system.
- If asked for your username and password then check that you are entering the correct username and password.
- Ask an administrator to create an account for you.
User administration in Dynamics CRM 2011 is under Settings → System → Administration → Users
