Brian Cryer was born in 1965 to Drs Pat and Neil Cryer. His full name is Andrew Brian Cryer. He adopted his middle name ‘Brian’ as his preferred name when he first went to University. He has one sister, Wendy.
Brian is happily married to Linda, who he met whilst studying for his MSc at Cranfield. They were married in 1989 and have four daughters - Emily, Alice, Lilian and Holly.
